Well-trained dogs are happier and certainly make those around them happier, too. However, they need your help. Puppy classes can start soon after vaccines are begun. Basic obedience training starts at four months of age. Group or private training classes are highly recommended, and are not expensive.

Your dog doesn’t have to be in puppyhood to benefit from training classes. Dogs of all ages can benefit from obedience training regardless of how old it is. And you’ll enhance the owner-animal bond with your pet during class time as well as during home practice sessions.
